When a renter asks about a home, requests a showing or joins a waitlist on your site, RentRealm can email them a reply within a minute, in your site's name. Your team still gets every lead as before.
It's off until you turn it on. Go to Sites → your site → Auto-replies, tick Email renters an automatic reply and save. Only owners and admins can change it.
What the reply says
It reads the home when it is sent:
- Available: "Yes, it's available now" (or from its date), the total monthly price, and a link to the home's page for photos, details and showing times.
- Leased or no longer listed: that it was just leased, and up to three similar homes you have listed, with links.
- Waitlist: that the renter is on the waitlist, the date you expect the home back if you set one, and similar homes.
The Preview on the same tab shows the reply for any of your homes.
A renter who books a showing time gets the booking confirmation instead, not a second email.
What it never says
Replies never include door or lockbox codes, payment instructions, or phone numbers and email addresses, not even yours. If your site name or a home's address would put one of those in a reply, the reply isn't sent and the preview says why.
Renters stay in control
- While replies are on, your listing forms tell renters they'll get one.
- Every reply has a one-click link to stop them. A renter who stops them gets no more automatic replies from your company.
- Addresses that bounce or mark email as spam get none.
- A renter gets at most one reply a day about the same home, and three a day from your company.
